What is Flag Quiz?
Flag Quiz is a free, browser-based geography game that helps you learn to recognize the national flags of every country in the world. Whether you're a student studying for a geography exam, a traveller who wants to know the flags of the countries you visit, or simply a trivia lover — Flag Quiz is the perfect tool to practice and test your knowledge.
The game is completely free to play. No account or sign-up is required. Simply open the site and start playing immediately.
How does Flag Quiz work?
Each round you are shown a national flag and given four answer options. You must identify the correct country before the 20-second timer runs out. The key feature: the faster you answer, the more points you earn. An instant correct answer scores 100 points, while a correct answer with 1 second left scores just 10 points. This makes every second count!
Solo Quiz Mode
Play through 20 random flag questions. After each correct answer the game automatically advances to the next question so you keep your momentum. At the end of the quiz you see your total score, which you can save to the global leaderboard.
2-Player Duel Mode
Challenge a friend on the same device. Players take turns identifying flags — each with their own 20-second timer. Every player starts with 2 lives. A wrong answer or a timeout costs a life. The first player to lose both lives loses the duel. The winner's score is saved to the leaderboard.
